The first step for getting into a place you have no business getting into is showing up.
The second step is smiling real big and asking for what you want. Don't lie, it's gauche. Just ask.
The third step is walking into a Detroit factory with an Auto Workers For Trump sign and sitting mere feet from the former president as he talks about the green new deal for an hour or so.
I’m here in Detroit on assignment with New Lines Magazine, doing a story about UAW workers’ perspective on the strike generally and the politicization of said strike specifically. These past 48 hours have seen both Biden and Trump attempting to align themselves with blue collar workers. The workers? Largely unimpressed. I got some great interviews and I think it’s going to be a great article. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile: here’s a car video recap of Donald Trump’s pitch to auto workers:

What a world, huh?
With Twitter gutted, getting the word out about this substack is harder than ever. Please consider giving it a share!

Good stuff. Thanks. V

Do you vape? You may need to vape for that one to make it complete. Or at least hold one of those big vape units the size of your fist that somehow always manages to gurgle and sputter on every hit.
