Firewalled Media, formerly BANNED IN YOUR STATE, is a newsletter by Laura Jedeed that documents the American apocalypse. Sometimes that means event coverage. Sometimes it means articles about coyotes or how to fight a military occupation. In this house, we clutch no pearls, pull no punches, and do our best to present the facts as they are, even if they’re inconvenient.

You will not find objective journalism here, or anywhere else for that matter: there’s no such thing, it does not exist. Every journalist is biased in some way and that bias affects every article they write. Even articles that consist entirely of facts come from journalists whose biases determined which facts to put in and which to leave out. I am of the left. I believe leftist ideas can create a better world for everyone, including you, and my work reflects this point of view.

Whatever your political persuasion, you are more than welcome here and I look forward to arguing in the comments (as long as you keep things civil).

Articles are free to read for the first two weeks after their release. Premium subscribers get access to the archives and audio narration read by yours truly (no AI voices here, now or ever).
