The US has pulled back from our current situation three time, 1860, 1901, and 1929. The least traumatic of those still required an accidental president that the oligarchs had tried to bury in the vice-presidency. Worse than any of these, and I think what you really fear is a repeat of 476. The fall of western liberalism to the oligarchs, leading to 1000 years of worldwide feudalism.
I don’t have a magic plan. Maybe the return of Trump to Twitter will disrupt politics enough destroy the Republican Party for a generation. But to make a difference, the Dems will also need a massive change in leadership and priorities. I don’t see anything that would trigger such a change. For now, I’ll just enjoy your writing and vote for the least bad candidates here in Louisville.
You write good and I miss your tiny thoughts & observations on that hellsite.
Support beams & breakers, I got gunslinger vibes. Hail discordia.
The world surely has moved on.
Thought provoking. Good job at the end negator
