I'm afraid I couldn't read this all the way through. Too dark. I can't go there. Even without reading all the way through, your nightmare has now become my nightmare. I love your writing, but jesus....
It's all possible as you say, but of course, who knows. Schumer is ready to appease. But there are many responsible judges, and if the Dems win, they can stop Congress from being a rubber stamp. And yet -- and here's the question I asked the ACLU in a group call in 2015, which they could not answer -- who will enforce court rulings, including contempt of Court or contempt of Congress? The corrupted executive branch. Except, isn't there an option somewhere allowing the courts and Congress to appoint their own enforcers?
I always use that Karl Rove quote about studying their actions judiciously as a bit of snark like say there's no such thing as society which Thatcher said in one of her more dismissive and petulant moments
It's scary because it's true but if folks like you are listened to and the democrats decide to actually go for the jugular abs send cabinet members, some members to prison ands just hire lots of democratic leaning investigators whose major qualification is they want to take heads ands they'll figure out the legal way as they do it and barring that encourage democratic voters not to donate money to scam organizations like The Mothersip but organizing it won't succeed.
I've held your work in high regard for quite some time
A question I've wondered about is how important it is for Stephen Miller to see his children grow up? Doing all of that risks his family's future (or at least his part in it). Maybe he doesn't care, hard to say.
