There is little in the world of edgyness more frightening than bringing one's self consciously to the jagged edge you are treading. If you were sane to start with you would probably have less of a chance of coming through with a bold, brilliant and balanced (?) Thesis. Love and courage to you, intrepid one. You might also take the weddings and births beat for a rest, in the off chance you survive this ordeal.

Laura, You are so fucking cool. Your voice has always meant so much to me in this crazy morass. Take good care of yourself! We need you out there!

I apologise on behalf of Wisconsin for you having to learn anything about Kenosha. Best of luck, skill, and sanity!

Just a "keep plugging" note. Big milestone ahead. It's been a joy to watch. I hope you celebrate with abandon, savor what you've done, and in the meantime, stay focused, don't let your internal engine add unneeded stress or expectations. Look forward to reading your next work.

Like I said before, you sure can take it. I can't even look at a picture of that fat-faced prick without wanting to violently vomit.

Good topic. And good luck. I look forward to reading it.

Enjoy your socialist paradise, you deserve it! (actually we all do, but that’s not in the cards). :)

Kick some ass Laura. Hoping the caffeine and absolutely legal substances carry you through.

I’m so glad to hear this -- not because I want you to suffer but because I hadn’t heard anything from you in so long I got worried. On my run in Forest Park today I thought I’d check your Twitter but then realized you have sworn off that 9th Circle of Hell. Smart. Though I wish you were there. But still smart of you. Anyway prayers answered that you’re just ensconced in the thousands of note cards (or however it’s done these days) of madhouse research and all of us are so looking forward to the final article! Godspeed and good luck and remember that caffeine over 800 mg a day can lead to overdose symptoms!!

Thanks for letting your fans know the reason for radio silence. I was worried I wasn’t seeing your Notes. Good luck with the thesis.

While I will miss your awesome writing, it’s the end of the semester! You got this! Good luck over the next 11 days. I’ve been there and I’m rooting for you!

I appreciate your writing and will read the final product when given the chance. Cheers and expedient writing to you.

You go girl! I'm very much looking forward to your (thesis) article. I am in awe at your ability to spend so much time with people I cannot abide. Your perspective and your courage provide insights I don't find anywhere else. Keep doing what you're doing Laura! Cheers!

I remember grad school for my Masters of Arts in Teaching at the very obscure Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa, and a lot of writing going into that degree. My own daughter is working on her chemical engineering degree and I wouldn’t even know where to start with some of the math and chemical processes she has to work with. I’m in the middle of final revisions on my second book myself.

To make a long statement short, do what you need to do and take care of yourself. I’ll be keeping an eye out for whenever you write something.
