I am reminded of another idea from the book on survival you referenced (which I bought and read a few months back on your recommendation, so thank you!). The flawed mental map that doesn't match the reality we are faced with now. To many people want to find thier way back to the old 'normal' but thier mental map isn't matching up to the ques they are gettong from the reality of the new world order King Trump and Pres. Musk are busy creating. 2 of the 3 co-equal branches of gov't are either knuckling under to the executive branch or being ignored by it as with judges and courts. And anyone claiming that SCOTUS will slow or stop them is delusional IMO. Yes, SCOTUS will rule against Trump/ Musk on some issues which will mostly prove to be inconsequential but they will side with him on most of his fascist agenda and allow him to destroy whatever semblance of democracy or rule of law we relied on in the past. Things will get much worse b4 they get better and that will take more than "insert variable here" will save us!
